WHAT IS THE UNDERCOVER UNIT?
It is a fully interactive theatrical experience where you and your party, with the help of actors, lights, a musical score, and much more experience whatever show you have purchased
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
You and the rest of your group will be placed in a scenario (which can be something we already have put together or a custom show made just for you ) and, with the help of a guide will become a special agent, undercover agent, spy, or maybe even a ghost hunter.
I STILL DON'T GET IT.
Think of it as a scavenger hunt, escape room, murder mystery, and stage show all rolled into one.
OK, I AM STARTING TO GET IT BUT HOW DOES IT WORK?
Ok so let's say you have a bachelorette party to plan but you don't want penis straws and strippers. you are looking for something completely different. contact us and either choose from one of our preplanned games or have us create a custom adventure for you. We have many packages but let us say you choose the mob game and our weekend package. On Friday you will conduct a safety briefing and you find out what the scenario is and how we are to accomplish it. Then on Saturday, you will start the day by making contact with the lead detective and the "suspect" and go out and about from there. It could entail surveillance of a subject, gathering clues, and finding evidence. talking to witnesses, interviewing suspects, and conducting undercover operations. etc. If you have done your job correctly you will have enough evidence to effect an arrest. Then on Sunday (maybe over an optional brunch), you will conduct a case debrief and a test so pay attention.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
Our headquarters is located in Ellenwood GA and we tend to do many games in the Atlanta Metro Area but we can create these adventures anywhere. We can come to your home, set up a location, start in your hotel, we have even rented a movie studio and created sets for our larger-budget games.
I SEE PEOPLE IN THE PICTURES HAVE GUNS WHAT ARE THEY?
We use Airsoft guns as well as prop weapons that shoot blanks
CAN THEY HURT ME LIKE A REAL FIREARM?
No. Airsoft guns are TOYS. They cannot fire firearm bullets nor can they be modified to do so. The internal design and workings are completely different from those of real firearms. They are also utilized only in very controlled areas so they can't be mistaken for a real firearm by the general public.
CAN THEY STILL HURT ME?
Yes, if used improperly anything can hurt you also airsoft bbs can hurt and a BB will leave a mark if it hits unprotected skin or clothing tightly stretched over it. If it hits soft skin, like the cheek or inner thigh, it will undoubtedly hurt more. Airsoft hurts a lot less than paintball, but you do run the risk of receiving small red welts from impacts. The upside is without a little pain, there is no more incentive to avoid hits than a computer game. The adrenaline produced by a player when in the game may also mean they don't feel any effects of being hit until they return home.
IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY I CAN GET HURT?
Due to the nature of some of the games, you may be called upon to do such things as crawl, crouch, and escape from various scenarios. Due to this, there is always a chance you may get hurt. We do not recommend this to anyone pregnant, who suffers from heart ailments, asthma, high blood pressure, back pain, neck pain, or any other injury/ailment that would preclude them from playing any other sport, riding an amusement ride, etc. You also MUST sign a waiver before playing any of our games. There are however a few simple rules to follow and this can be a very safe and fun adventure.
ARE THERE ANY OTHER RULES I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?
We have a strict zero-tolerance policy when it comes to unsafe or illegal actions. Breaking a zero-tolerance rule will have you banned from our facility and future events and in most cases will result in local law enforcement being called in.
Some examples are, but are not limited to:
• Illegal drugs of any kind.
• Excessive alcohol consumption before (or any consumption during) games/events (anyone deemed intoxicated will not be able to play.)
• Theft
• Willful damage to property (graffiti, littering, etc)
• Aggressive physical contact with another player/event staff
• Disrespect of any kind towards other players, facility/event staff.
Possession of an actual firearm in the game zone is strictly prohibited. (Including anyone with a CW permit)
WHAT DOES THIS COST?
This is determined by many factors. We customize everything for you. We have had some packages for as little as $600 and from there the sky is the limit.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING/WEAR?
This will all be discussed with you based on the theme of the party.
HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO PLAY?
This is an adventure that is only recommended for adults. The games can include violence, strong language, gun violence, etc. We have had adults who have had panic attacks. We feel that with the current culture and environment towards guns or anything that "promotes the gun culture" and in light of recent violent incidents involving minors, the decision to participate in these games should be on those who can be legally responsible to make that decision. We also have made most of our adventures as if we were living in a movie or video game. With that in mind, we feel some of our adventures would get an R rating due to gun violence, adult themes, and strong language. Based on all of these factors we have decided that no one under the age of 18 may purchase a package and NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 13 WILL BE ADMITTED. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent/legal guardian (not just an adult) and their parent must sign the waiver ON LOCATION to participate.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM/MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PEOPLE?
Most of our packages are charged one price for up to 6 people (so if a couple wants to book a party they would be paying the same as a party of 6). Most of our shows are very intimate so 6-8 people is the sweet spot. We can set up parties of any size but there might be games that just would not work for larger groups or might not include all of the guests as participants.
YOU MENTIONED DIFFERENT LEVELS HOW WILL I KNOW WHAT LEVEL TO GET?
The game level will be determined by the package you purchase. We have people who want an intense game and others who would rather Grandma not be yelled at, grabbed, and locked in a room that she has to try to escape from. You will have a guide that will walk you through all aspects of the game and ensure that the game is played at your chosen level. When you book we will ask you a ton of questions and are happy to answer any questions that you may have to ensure that your game is an exciting but safe one.
HOW LONG DOES A TYPICAL SCENARIO LAST?
This depends on the game you choose. We can set up games for a couple of hours up to a weekend adventure
DO I NEED TO PURCHASE WELL IN ADVANCE?
The short answer is YES. We base our actors, guides, staff, location, etc on presales only. If you purchase one of our ready-made games we can put those together much faster than if you buy a custom show where we would have to write a script, rent a location, build sets, cast additional actors, etc. It's also important to note certain days/times of the year sell out faster and prices in certain areas may be much higher in the high seasons..
